see the 'semi finals' topic.

i reckon its similar to round 3 if i remember correctly but i think last year in the semi final each peep had to sit next to tim sugden and do 2 timed laps, just to add to the pressure, so that's the added test.

it's in middlesborough yeah - a place fit for Kings.

yep!! teesside again.

it should goes like this:

15 mins practice run
timed laps with instructors
times laps with tim sugden

Shall we see if we can organise a kart race after? since we have to wait for the result at the end, which will take hours. that way we can kill of some time and ease the mental torture. Evil or Very Mad Evil or Very Mad

yup deffo, this is what i suggested in that semifinals topic - it's daylight till at least 6 now, imagine a proper 30 minute kart race between the 30 odd semi finalists with quali positions picked out of a hat.

we'd probably have to pay for it but i think it'd be worth it - i'm gona ring up Nick at bearacingdriver sometime today and ask about it - obviously there's someone at the circuit i'd need to talk to about that, plus there'd have to be marshalls/staff for running the karts etc....

last years kart race in the soaking wet on slicks was.......some of the hardest work i've ever had to do. and Hilarious. Talk about an imbalanced go kart Laughing (is my prefix for 'balance' correct there?)

If it's actually possible we can do this - i'll start a seperate topic on this forum - see who else is interested

i reckon first i'd have to contact nick, if he reckons there'll be enough circuit time or whatever, then call someone who runs things at teeside and get their input.

wouldnt surprise me if they said no but its worth a go. if not, at least let our cars on track so i can drive my mate around.

Unless..............remember last year - they had that ps2 hooked up with the steering wheel in that gamers seat - could hold a tournament on that - £2 to enter - winner takes all Laughing

i think the guy who works there (the one that runs that old bmw 5 series) owns it.

at least its something to kill the wait and take our minds off it.

if the track is free after our semi final cant see any problem. the year before, we had to wait for the result, and i think it took about 2 hours.

so we should have time for

Heats and final.
